  2. I see the latest issue is being funded by the Copley History Group. Now there’s a secret squirrel society if there ever was one!

  3. Could we please stop this Hornswoggle,
It is such a waste of time…..

  4. good to see you are reading the newsletter from cover to cover Artie. I am pleased to be associated with such a community-minded group of squirrels, not a nut amongst them.

  5. No comments about the good stuff in the newsletter? eh Artie?
No comments about the article on democracy? or the volunteers working towards a better Copley and district? or the effort Rose has put into a better way for water accounts to be sent? No….just a fiddly-diddly comment about who is now funding the newsletter!!!
Does this matter in the grand scheme of things, as long as the community is informed about the real issues relating to their town and district? This is what the newsletter is about.
Some had a strange idea that the only reason for the newsletter to be in existence was for funding money. Not in any sense has this been the motivation. Now that funding is no longer being routed through Copley & District Progress Assoc., from OACDT, it has gained true independence and freedom of the press. Thank you.

  7. re: article on Earthdream festival
vehicles are starting to come into town. We are expecting about 60 all up. I have put a notice in the cafe, as this is where most will go to first. Our wonderful rain has made the road from Lyndhurst to Marree a little treacherous for anything but 4×4’s and there are plenty of rutted surfaces. The edges are soft so special care will need to be taken. We may have a few staying in the town for a day at least. All are totally self-sufficient, but a hard surface to park vehicles will be needed.

  8. I have been meaning to ask – what seems to be the problem with the “Catchya at Copley” pamphlet?
