great photos…what a doosey of a storm. …dust…wind…..hail….drenching rain….and not a single plant was damaged…they just bent with the wind. I went out to take a photo just as the 44gal came flying round the front, crashed into a post and fell over, right in front of me. I went inside after that. Of course, the next day was spent picking up all the bits and pieces collected along my front fence and rescuing the tarp which was shading the western side of the house…was, being the operative word.
I could hear Leighs Creek rushing water from my place.
All the plants are singing today with joy over the rain which is soaking into the land. Wonderful stuff!!!
That’s my home down there in pic 1 about to get swallowed by the dust storm. Pretty green eh!!! Well, it was anyway. It seems every time we sweep away the last lot of red dust and sand from the verandah’s and inside the house, the next storm come flying in….Oh well!!! Nothing else to do.hhhmmmmmm……
We are so thankful to have solid walls around us, gardens and plants that just bend with the 100m/h winds, and accept with gladness the torrential rain and hail. Something for all of us to ponder, methinks. Nature has shown us her might, her strength, and her loving. Many thanks.
