  1. hey AM…don’t seem to be able to download at present…not sure whether it is a problem here or not.
the picture on front page isn’t mine unfortunately…it is one of the murals I am featuring on the front page for each successive issue. I don’t know at this point who painted it.

(earlier I wrote that the image was painted by Di) – amt

  2. I am looking forward to doing more of the Flinders, when I get 2 seconds to myself. When we all settle down after the move, I hope to begin creating landscapes again. The last one was bought by the GM of Perilya.
Did get it downloaded finally, and it works well thank you so much.

  5. Hello Di, I’m just cruising around the site looking at the updates. Is that your mural. Elsmicko… We hear a lot about the murals in Copley, but not sure if these are the ones. I fancy they are outdoors as the tourist said they are able to take photos.

Congratulations the newsletter is great again. Lots of country input and local news. I’ll keep pressing buttons here..getting lost. A few new ones.

    cheers Marg

  6. this isn’t the latest one Marg….up to 28 now. The mural was done by one of the locals…I have yet to find out who has done which one…I think they are waiting for me to go take all the pictures and write up the stories, but progress want the accolades so I am a bit reluctant. Yes…the murals are on the tin fences around the residential district….tourists drive by and take photos of them from their cars…mostly. Max and shirl are touting that Copley will be known for its art now… has been for a long time….shame about the Copley Art Space closure due to ‘ferals’ running it and hanging out at the cafe, buying coffee and food, and drawing tourists to the place. sold heaps from there and got lots of really good comments from them…..most were surprised that such good art was available in such an out-of-the-way place. Most of it was mine at the time. I even sold one that we all doodled wiling away the hours.
We did a lot for the area and Copley itself, just by being there and letting people know what was available to do in Copley and its surrounds. It was fun. Some people stayed for hours chatting. Unfortunately, a certain element has cut their own throats by their oppressive actions. The way I see it they just wanted all the tourist dollars for themselves and considered us arty-farty people detrimental to their idea of what tourists want in THEIR town. Silly people!!!!
