With regard to the anonymous bogus letter sent to the Copley and Districts Progress Association, outlined in the Chronicles of Copalot, Issue 1, mid November, this response was issued by the Health Department, 27 October:
I refer to your letter where you forwarded to this office a letter of complaint from an anonymous source regarding the sale of fruit and vegetables that have allegedly been grown in raw human effluent.
After discussions with the owners and an inspection of the property I have found the content of the complaint to be unjustified.
After speaking with the owners and having inspected the property I find no Public Health risks associated with the property, should it continue in the state that was explained and inspected.
If any member of the CDPA wish to discuss the matter further, please contact me on the above number.

Lightning in all directions electrified the skies last night! What a lightshow!
Click here for a film clip taken from the Chapel bridge of lightning striking the northern horizon. The footage is slowed down to a tenth of the actual speed.

This week our site reached 10,000 hits and the prophetic Mayan calendar clicked up a notch to the Age of Ethics: time to get it together. Character assassination, cockfights, rumours, psychic vampirism and other outpicturing of base mammal politics is all a bit yesteryear (yaaawn) and not bringing anything useful to the table. Quite frankly, who’s got the time? If you do, that’s a bit of bad luck, here’s a clue what to do with it rather than trying to dump it in this domain. This site is dedicated to celebrating life, love and laughter in this magical part of the world. Do yourself a favour before you shuffle of the mortal coil: become alive! Release yourself from idiotic grudges! Enjoy diversity! Laugh heartily! Celebrate nature! Speak your truth and share your best. In the words of the freewheeling hobbit, BE the change you want to see in the world. If then you discover your gifts, we look forward to seeing you at the table.
